Scholarship Program Details:
The Bharti Airtel Foundation aims to support deserving students from various backgrounds, with a particular emphasis on girls, to become future leaders in technology. This scholarship is available for students enrolled in undergraduate (UG) courses or 5-year integrated programs at top 50 engineering colleges in India, including IITs. Selected students will be known as “Bharti Scholars.”
Benefits of the Bharti Airtel Foundation Scholarship 2024:
- Course Duration: The scholarship is available for the full duration of UG and 5-year integrated courses, provided renewal criteria are met.
- Fees Covered: 100% of the annual fee as per the institute’s fee structure.
- Hostel & Mess Fees: Coverage of hostel and mess fees for selected students. Support is also available for students staying in private hostels.
- Laptop Provision: A laptop will be provided to all admitted scholars (students are responsible for the safety/security of the laptop; no replacements will be provided).
- Future Commitment: Graduates are encouraged to provide financial support to at least one student at the school or college level, as per their ability.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Admission: Must be admitted to UG or 5-year integrated courses in fields such as Electronics & Communication, Telecom, Information Technology, Computer Science, Data Science, Aerospace, and New Technologies (AI, IoT, AR/VR, Machine Learning, Robotics) at one of the top 50 NIRF-ranked engineering universities/institutes starting in 2024.
- Citizenship: Must be an Indian citizen and resident.
- Annual Family Income: Should not exceed ₹8.5 lakh from all sources.
- Other Scholarships: Must not be receiving any other scholarship or grant supported by the Airtel Foundation for the same purpose.
Note: Female students are particularly encouraged to apply.
Important Note:
Refundable and security deposits are not included in the scholarship. Students will need to manage these payments independently.
