Step 1: To start, open the Chrome browser on your phone. After that, go to the official website of Delhi Traffic Police by entering delhitrafficpolice.nic.in in your Chrome browser.

Step 2: Once the Delhi Traffic Police official website is open, tap on the three-line button located at the top.

Next, under the ‘Pending Challan and Notice’ section, select ‘Pending Notices.’

Step 3: A new interface will appear. You can check your challan by entering either your ‘Vehicle number’ or your ‘Notice number.’ Make sure to enter the correct number, and then click on the ‘Submit Details’ option.

Step 4: You will receive an OTP on your registered mobile number. Enter the OTP you received, and then click on the ‘Submit’ button.

Step 5: After clicking the submit button, you’ll see a detailed list of all the Challans issued on your vehicle. You can review how much each challan is, when it was issued, and other specific information.

Additionally, you can download your challan by clicking on the download icon in the print notice. This will provide you with the challan number, date of challan, and all the details related to the challan.

You can view the penalty for each challan by scrolling to the right in the table. This will help you understand the reason for the fine. Additionally, in the payment status section, you can check whether your challan has been paid. If it says ‘Paid,’ it means you’ve already paid that challan. If the status is ‘Pending for payment,’ then you still need to pay that particular challan.

Step 1: Click on the ‘Pay Now’ button.

Step 2: You’ll be prompted to confirm if you’re sure about paying the challan. Simply click on the ‘Yes’ button.

Step 3: You’ll then be asked to specify who was driving the vehicle. Choose ‘Driver’ if your driver was behind the wheel, or select ‘Owner’ if you, the owner, were driving. After making your choice, click on the ‘Submit’ button.

It’s important to note that if you choose the ‘Driver’ option, you’ll need to provide the mobile number and name of the driver. On the other hand, if you select the ‘Owner’ option, you won’t be required to enter your number or name.

Step 4: Choose the payment gateway for your transaction. After that, agree to the terms and conditions by checking the box. Enter the provided captcha correctly, and then click on the ‘Continue’ button.

Step 5: Once the payment page appears, select the appropriate option based on your preferred payment method. If you’re using a debit or credit card, choose the first option. Opt for the second option if you’re paying through Internet Banking. If you prefer UPI methods like PhonePe or Gpay, select the third option for UPI and proceed to pay after entering all the required information correctly. Additionally, you can choose to pay by scanning the QR code if that option is available.

Step 6: After making the payment, you’ll see a message on your screen saying ‘Notice payment has been received successfully.’ Look for a print icon and click on it. This will allow you to view and print your challan receipt.

Then you will just have to print the receipt and save it.
