वर्त्तमान में राशन कार्ड से आच्छादित समस्त लाभार्थी, फैमिली आईडी – एक परिवार एक पहचान पोर्टल पर जाकर अपनी फैमिली आईडी प्राप्त कर सकते है। ऐसे समस्त परिवार जो कि राशन कार्ड के पात्र नहीं है, वह फैमिली आईडी एक परिवार एक पहचान पोर्टल पर जाकर अपना पंजीकरण करते हुए फैमिली आईडी प्राप्त कर सकते है। परिवार के प्रत्येक सदस्य का आधार बेस्ड e-KYC किया जाना अनिवार्य है।
- परिवार रजिस्ट्रेशन हेतु परिवार के सभी सदस्यों का आधार कार्ड होना अनिवार्य है।
- परिवार रजिस्ट्रेशन हेतु सभी सदस्यों का मोबाइल ओ0टी0पी0 के माध्यम से e-KYC किया जाना अनिवार्य है, जिसके लिये सभी सदस्यों का मोबाइल नंबर आधार कार्ड से लिंक होना चाहिये।
- ऐसे परिवार जिनके पास राशन कार्ड उपलब्ध है, उनकी राशन कार्ड संख्या ही फैमिली आई0डी0 होगी तथा उनको फैमिली आई0डी0 बनवाने की आवश्यकता नहीं है। उनके द्वारा रजिस्ट्रेशन के उपरान्त आधार संख्या डालकर फैमिली आई0डी0 डाउनलोड/प्रिन्ट की जा सकती है।
- ऐसे व्यक्ति जो पहले से ही किसी परिवार में जुड़े हुये हैं, उन्हें किसी अन्य परिवार में नहीं जोड़ा जा सकता है।
- रजिस्ट्रेशन की प्रक्रिया में समस्त आवश्यक जानकारी पूर्णत: सही भरें, जिससे कि सत्यापन आसानी से किया जा सके।
- फैमिली आई0डी0 की अद्यतन स्थिति को 15 अंकों के एप्लीकेशन नंबर को Track Application Status में डालकर देखा जा सकता है।

Below is the complete process for UP Family ID portal registration and login:
STEP 1: Visit the official UP Family ID – Ek Parivar Ek Pahchan website at https://familyid.up.gov.in/portal/index.html
STEP 2: On the homepage, click on the “New Family ID Registration” tab or go to https://familyid.up.gov.in/portal/registration.aspx
STEP 3: The page for Family ID UP registration through online mode will open.
STEP 4: Enter your name, Aadhar registered mobile number, and click the “Send OTP” button.
STEP 5: You will then receive an OTP on your registered mobile number. Enter it on the registration page to complete the UP Family ID card registration process.
STEP 6: To make a Family ID UP portal login, go to https://familyid.up.gov.in/portal/signin.aspx
STEP 7: The UP Family ID portal login page will appear on your screen.
