The Haryana government has launched the “Har Ghar Har Grahani Yojana” to provide relief to low-income families affected by inflation. Under this scheme, Below Poverty Line (BPL) families in Haryana will be able to obtain a cooking gas cylinder for just ₹500. An online application process is available through the “Har Ghar Har Grahani” portal. Interested and eligible families can apply online through this portal to benefit from the scheme.

Launched by Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini on August 12, 2024, the Har Ghar Har Grahani Yojana provides domestic gas cylinders to BPL families in Haryana at a subsidized rate of ₹500. This initiative is designed to alleviate the financial burden of expensive gas cylinders and improve the economic conditions of poor families. Approximately 50 million families are expected to benefit from this scheme, with an allocated annual budget of ₹1500 crores.
Eligible families must have an annual income of less than ₹1,80,000 and be listed in the Haryana Antyodaya Beneficiary List.

Eligibility Criteria

Financial Assistance
The Har Ghar Har Grahani Yojana provides gas cylinders at ₹500. Any additional subsidy amount will be directly transferred to the beneficiaries’ bank accounts through DBT. The Har Ghar Har Grahani portal must be used for registration to receive the subsidy amount beyond ₹500.
How to Apply Online
- Visit the official Har Ghar Har Grahani portal: https://epds.haryanafood.gov.in/.
- On the homepage, click the “Registration Form” link.
- If you have a Family ID, select “Yes” and enter your Family ID on the next page.
- Enter the Captcha code and click “Send OTP.”
- Enter the OTP received on your linked mobile number and click “Verify.”
- The application form will appear. Fill in the required details like name, address, mobile number, gas agency name, and consumer number.
- Scan and upload the necessary documents.
- Click “Submit” to complete the application.
- Save the receipt provided after successful submission for future reference.
Checking Application Status
- Go to the official Har Ghar Har Grahani portal: https://epds.haryanafood.gov.in/.
- Click on the “Registration Status” link on the homepage.
- Enter your Family ID and Captcha code, then click “Send OTP.”
- Enter the OTP received on your registered mobile number and click “Verify.”
- On the next page, enter details like name, registration number, bank account number, and Aadhaar number.
- Click “Get Status” to view the current status of your application.
